TimeZero installation, licensing and setup
NAVION installs, licenses and commissions TimeZero Professional and Navigator on vessels calling at ports in Busan, Vladivostok and China, as a TimeZero dealer. That covers licence activation and transfer, MapMedia chart installation, NMEA sensor interfacing, radar overlay alignment and PBG setup. Work is planned around your port-call window so the system is running and the bridge team trained before you sail.

Most of our TimeZero work happens in Gamcheon fishing port and the Yeongdo repair yards, where a boat has a fixed number of hours before it sails, and the software has to be working, licensed and understood by the crew before the gangway comes off.

What we need from the vessel
- Access to the wheelhouse workstation position and to the sensor cabling behind the console
- Vessel power available at the console, and permission to shut down and restart the navigation PC
- Internet access for licence activation, or advance notice so offline activation can be prepared
- Existing licence details and dongle, or the old PC if a licence transfer is needed
- A bridge officer or skipper available for radar alignment, PBG settings and handover training
- Confirmation of berth area, ETA and how long the vessel stays alongside
Documents issued
- Licence activation record with licence and module details handed to the vessel
- List of installed MapMedia and chart catalogues with version and coverage area
- Interface schedule: sensor, port, baud rate and NMEA sentences confirmed received
- Backup media and written restore instructions for marks, tracks, routes and PBG data
- Short handover note for the bridge team covering settings changed and any items left open

Are you an authorized TimeZero dealer?
Yes. NAVION is a TimeZero dealer. We supply licences, install and commission TimeZero Professional and Navigator, and handle activation, module registration and licence transfer directly.
Can you move our TimeZero licence to a new PC?
Yes. Licence transfer from a failed or retired workstation to a new one is routine work. We also carry across user data where the old machine is still readable: marks, tracks, routes, PBG database and workspace layouts. Transfer needs internet access, so tell us in advance whether the vessel has satcom or shore connectivity available at the berth.
